To whom it may concern: I am an enthusiastic computer scientist looking for a career in the programming/development field. I enjoy learning new concepts and can do so quickly. I have a particular interest in Internet development. However, I do enjoy other areas such as Unix and 3D graphics.I am interested in a position that will allow me to demonstrate my current talents and further develop my professional skills. Through past work experience and educational training, I have acquired strong skills in several different programming languages and operating systems. Some of the personal projects that I have accomplished are: hosting and maintaining a personal FTP/WEB server, developing a Yahtzee game and a web crawler, learning Perl and Java. I have developed excellent leadership skills through coordinating group projects at school. My ability to function effectively as a team player and as an individual contributor would make me an asset to your company and an excellent candidate to fill the position.
